"I can't wait to get back into a routine" may be the most used phrase as summer closes. WE CRAVE IT. Consistency is key to success. But, structure doesn't move us forward unless it's
INTENTIONALLY CREATED, TO SUPPORT EACH AREA OF OUR LIFE.
We allot for time EVERY day to: brush our teeth, make coffee, drive to work, check emails... What if you didn't? Those areas of your life would fail. Your teeth would rot, you'd have no energy, and you'd fail at your job.
That's why those things will ALWAYS get a piece of your time.
Your DAILY routine has to include fitness and nutrition, or you'll never look and feel good.
What happens when you don't workout, eat right, take time for you every day?
Your body fails you, and you begin to resent your life, because it's not what you actually want.
IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY SERIOUS AND READY TO STOP SAYING "IF/WHEN..." TO MANIFEST YOUR TRUEST MOST BRILLIANTLY AUDACIOUS LIFE:
SCHEDULE THESE ITEMS IN YOUR DAY:
-Daily intention setting/journaling
-Continuing education (reading/podcast/workshops DAILY)
-Eating Right (Although, this doesn't have to actually take MORE time)
...INTENTIONALLY GIVE THESE THINGS A PIECE OF YOUR DAY, EVERY DAY, BEFORE YOU EVEN START.
"You have to get rid of the bottom, to make room for the top."
ELIMINATE: What will you get rid of on your schedule, that doesn't serve you? (Time on your phone, netflix, group chatting, 1 hour of sleep...)
DELEGATE TASKS: Especially parents & bosses- I know our plates are full. But, begin to empower others. Dads ARE capable of feeding/driving children. Kids can be given chores. Employees can be given more responsibilities. EVEN if they don't do it as well as you. You're not doing them a service by doing it all, all the time. And, you're definitely not a joy to be around when you're overworked and unhealthy.
TAP INTO US! Every instructor here is trained and educated with the knowledge and advice to get you there. There are even several of us with specific areas of expertise to guide you further, such as:
*Pre/post natal exercise- Missy
kadi fit is the toolkit to life change.
Your mind and body are the materials.
Our facets of knowledge, hand crafted workouts, and personalized encouragement,
are the tools to sharpen YOU.
1. CREATE A SCHEDULE IN TIME BLOCKING.
Decide what part of your day, each day, will be spent on each area.
Ex. MONDAYS: 5:30-6:30am workout
7-9am Intention Setting/Coffee/Breakfast
9am Kids to school
2. QUIT TRYING TO WORKOUT ON YOUR OWN. I know it's cheaper, and who doesn't need to save money. But cheap should be for something that doesn't move you forward in life (eating out, shopping on amazon, drinking...) If you're ready to finally experience true badassery, invest in yourself!
GROUP CLASSES WITH AN EXPERT: The best coaches spend hours intentionally crafting full-bodied sweats. Through our energy and encouragement, we have the ability to push you past your "familiar" (aka- yield results), while monitoring you to prevent injury.
YOU ARE WHO YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH: The energy you get from the people in class, or aspiration to get to the next level like "Jamey", may be what gets the ball of confidence rolling. Every person I've seen in our classes here will tell you, they would be NO WHERE NEAR the physical shape they are in, if they were going at this alone.
HERE'S PROOF OF THAT:
We offer workouts at a brewery in Charlotte, every Friday at noon. The bulk of the people who show up are fitness trainers. Why? It's when they are available. And, although they have all of the knowledge of how to workout on their own, they understand the success lies in the atmosphere & camaraderie!
3. SIGN-UP WITH SOMEONE
(Forward this to someone who's said "I'm ready to get back in a routine)."
Refer a friend to do the trial and you get $10 off your next month.
4. TELL YOUR FAMILY/BOSS/FRIENDS, that it's non-negotiable. If they want you vibrant, focused, crushing life ALL WITH PATIENCE, then they give you that hour a day. No. Matter. What.
If they won't give that to you, they don't deserve you. Period.
